SUSTAINING THE SUSTAINABLE Today (almost) everyone is aiming at it - and in our opinion this is good news. Our firm has been working for years on the transformation processes of organisations along the lines of ESG responsibility - Environmental, Social, Governance. We are very happy to have among our clients small and large realities that work with us not only on numbers, but on an integrated management of environmental, social and managerial aspects. ESG: our most important impact And we have been doing it for a while Few boast our experience on these issues (if you read a hint of pride, you guessed it). Our own Giancarlo Attolini, for example, contributed to the process of devising and defining Integrated Reporting standards in the course of his assignments at IFAC,. You have to have a holistic approach and look at reality from several different points of view. In this sense, our multidisciplinary team is the key to identifying opportunities for transformation. It's good (for business too) Implementing models such as integrated reporting and B Corp certification increases the credibility, trust, and authority of a brand for employees, customers, and investors, who are increasingly encouraged to make informed choices. Human relations, trust, organisational culture: change necessarily comes from here. And so, as a consequence, corporate performance also improves. ESG Reporting Principles We have been used to working for years with the environmental, social and governance reporting principles defined by GRI and we think in terms of convergence towards the Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN Global Compact. We are now actively following EFRAG's work on defining the new ESG reporting principles in the European context so that our clients can be the first to be prepared when their adoption is made mandatory. B Corporations and Società Benefit There are two main models of action that are recognized nationally and internationally to bring your company to the implementation of an ESG strategy: the Società Benefit (in Italy) and the Benefit Corporation (B Corp). These are complementary models that make it possible to give immediate recognition to the company's commitment to pursuing social and environmental responsibility objectives, through maximum transparency resulting from certification by independent bodies. B Corp and Società Benefit are paths open to partnerships, corporations and cooperatives operating in all sectors of industry and services. B Corp is also a path open to professional activities (doctors, lawyers, architects, engineers, etc.). The toolbox IR - INTEGRATED REPORTING
Integrated Reporting is now recognised as one of the fundamental tools for measuring the sustainability of an organisation. It was created with the aim of overcoming the concept of economic and financial reporting, which is now insufficient to meet the information needs of the company's network of stakeholders. Integrated Reporting is not just a corporate reporting system: it is a management system that provides managers and directors with a complete overview of the system of interrelationships of which the company is a part in order to create value in the medium and long term. With Coopservice's Integrated Report, ASZ in the finals of the Oscar di Bilancio READ ARTICLE INTERNAL SURVEY We listen to the voices and suggestions of colleagues through a series of internal surveys on workplace satisfaction. CODE OF CONDUCT We have adopted a detailed Code of Conduct that expresses our deepest, non-negotiable values - such as integrity, inclusiveness, the value of difference, and respect for the personal sphere (you can download it here and it is absolutely necessary to sign it to join our team). SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY We have encouraged sustainable mobility by joining the Bike to Work programme, which encourages people in ASZ to use bicycles to get to work. ECO-SUSTAINABILITY We have supported eco-sustainable choices with regard to the daily life of our workplace, such as the recycling of e-waste (e.g. we have set up collection points for printer toners and used batteries), the exclusive use of Ecolabel/FSC certified paper and an increasingly plastic-free office. Our Path to B Corp At the end of 2021, we have decided to embark on an important journey ourselves: that of becoming a B Corp. We are optimistic: we have already passed the first assessment phase, partly thanks to the Corporate Social Responsibility measures we have promoted over time.
